BECOMING FAMILIAR WITH THE SECURITY SETTINGS:
D) SECURITY / Users
HIPPA mandates that each user accessing patient data have a unique user
name and a password assigned. MPM allows four levels of access:
1.) Super User Rights to all options including ‘Access to Security’
(Users with security access should be chosen wisely).
2.) Edit Data Rights to add/change any data.
3.) Delete Data Rights to delete any data.
4.) Run Reports Rights run all reports.
Access to Security: Give you the ability to add, delete, or edit
all records, and can add, delete, or lock another person out of the
software entirely. This option is only modifiable by users who have been
given both ‘Super User’ status and ‘Access to Security’.
Available Providers: For each user, choose which provider’s
information and patients that user is allowed to view by selecting the
box next to each provider that appears.
