ENTERING MODIFIERS:
J) SET UP/ Modifiers
a) From the Top Navigational Menu, select ‘Set Up’, then ‘Modifier’.
b) Select ‘Add’ to open a blank ‘Edit New Modifier Data’ form.
c) Code: Enter the actual Modifier Code numbers or letters (letters must
be in UPPER CASE text).
d) Description: Enter the description of the Modifier Code.
e) +/- Units: Enter the units the modifier has.
f) Adjust Units by %: Enter the percentage Modifier Code is adjusted by.
NOTE: You can also add a new Modifier while in the claims table by
selecting ‘Add’ in the Modifier drop down menu.
