PATIENT GROUPS

Patient Groups: The group setting is actually a wildcard search setting that allows you to run reports by any criteria you imagine and designate as a group. A patient can belong only to one group at a time. You can assign a patient to any particular reporting category you desire, i.e.: by facility, by insurance type (such as HMO patients or PPO patients), etc.

Select ‘Add’ from the drop down menu, then enter a ‘Code’ along with a description for this group. Click ‘Save’ when done entering this new group.
