I submitted a claim
electronically and my clearinghouse rejected it stating that the
“rendering provider name (loop 2310b) is used. It's not required when
segment prv (loop 2000a) is used." What does this mean??

As the biller you must understand what your clearinghouse rejections
mean. Have them explain to you – in English – what they mean by the
rejection you are receiving and what they expect you to change. Then let
us know what we can do to help you change it on the system. |
