This is not an MPM Office issue; it is an
issue of your computer(s). Have a computer tech person in your area
check to see that:
(1)
Any active firewalls need to be correctly configured to allow
communication of MPM Office on each individual computer to the host
computer and back with little to no interference.
(2)
Any active packet sniffers (those hard-core anti-virus programs)
need to be correctly configured to allow communication of MPM Office on
each individual computer to the host computer and back with little to no
interference.
(3)
All computers with MPM Office installed should be of a speed of
1.5GHz or higher and with a RAM of at least 1.5Mb or higher. The
computers should have no more RAM than they are built to handle. I.E.:
a computer may have 2 RAM slots and they may make RAM chips in 2GB per
chip, but one would not put 4GB of RAM into the computer if the computer
can only process less than that. The computer manufacturer should be
able to advise what is the maximum supported amount of RAM that should
be installed.
(4)
All computers with MPM Office should be reviewed via TASK MANAGER
to see what else is running in the background – MPM Office could indeed
be the ONLY program running to the naked eye, but computers have a habit
of doing their own thing in the background that are only visible when
you ruin the TASK MANAGER or other similar program. If other programs
or services are running in the background, they could be interfering
with the “brain power” needed for MPM Office to perform.
(5)
All computers with MPM Office should be “cleaned” by removing any
unnecessary programs using the “ADD & REMOVE” feature in CONTROL PANEL.
Computers come with a bunch of unnecessary programs and features.
Removing things like DESKTOP WALLPAPER, CLIPBOARD, GAMES, etc. from both
the Windows Features and any preinstalled programs (i.e.: multiple
manufactures of a media player like Roxio, Windows, etc., or free or
trial software) will allow for both more RAM availability and more HARD
DRIVE space for the computer to perform better.
(6)
All computers with MPM Office should be defragmented on a regular
basis by using a defragmenting software such as
Diskeeper or other manufacturer.
(7)
All computers with MPM Office should be reviewed to make sure
that they have a large amount of VIRTUAL MEMORY available to allow the
computer to perform better. |
